Milo F. Kallenberger

Milo F. Kallenberger, 67, of Hardin, MO, died at 5:40 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2005, at the Liberty Hospital, Liberty, MO.

Mr. Kallenberger was born November 14, 1937 in Hardin to Willard G. and Frances Marie (Clemens) Kallenberger.  He married Gladys Ann Bond of Holden, MO on December 5, 1986.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Kallenberger of the home; his mother, Frances Gilmore of Norborne, MO; one son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Debbie Kallenberger of Lee’s Summit, MO; two daughters and son-in-law, Raydena and Chip Allison of St. Joseph, MO and Yvette Clifford of Oak Grove, MO; one step-son, Roger Hurr and his wife, Sherri of Holden, MO; one step-daughter, Starla Moore and her husband, David of Independence, MO; two brothers and sister-in-law, Alvin Kallenberger of Richmond and Gene and Iris Kallenberger of Norborne; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lois and Howard Williams of Carrollton and Leola and Leroy Winfrey of Stuttgart, AR; 14 grandchildren;  three step-grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his first wife, Soretta Kallenberger; his step-father, Carl Gilmore; and one step-son, Bryan Hurr.

Mr. Kallenberger worked at Lake City Arsenal for 27 years before retiring in 1993.  He was also a farmer.   He was a 1956 graduate of Hardin High School and was a lifelong resident of Hardin.  He was a member of the Hardin First Baptist Church .

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.  

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 20, at 10:30 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO.   Visitation will be Friday, August 19, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home, Richmond, MO.   Burial will be at Hardin Cemetery, Hardin, MO. Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond, MO is in charge of the arrangements.
