


Charline Crook
Charline Crook, 85, of Hardin , MO , died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2005, at the North Kansas City Hospital, in North Kansas City , MO .
Mrs. Crook was born May 1, 1920, in Stet, Mo. , the daughter of Joseph Walter and Naomi Cleo (Edgar) Penniston. Mrs. Crook lived in the Hardin area most of her life. She was a member of the Hardin First Baptist Church . She married Asa J. Crook of Hardin, on Oct. 31, 1942; he survives, of the home.
Other survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne and Jean Crook of Marshall, Mo., Dan and Barb Crook of Richmond, Mo., and Paul and Jan Crook of Hardin; on daughter and son-in-law, Doreen and Jay McFee of Richmond; one brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Sadie Penniston of Dockery, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Roger Dean Crook, who died in infancy; one brother, Walter Penniston; and two sisters, Fay Clark and Naomi Fern Penniston.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Hardin First Baptist Church of the American Cancer Society. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Hardin First Baptist Church in Hardin. Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 19, at Thurman Funeral Home, in Hardin. Burial will be at Hardin Cemetery in Hardin. Thurman Funeral Home, Hardin , MO , is in charge of the arrangements.
